On Saturday, April 13, Greater Springfield Habitat for Humanity (GSHFH) hosted its first "Spring into Action" event, which invited the community to take part in a one-day build. The event had been postponed from March 23 due to winter weather, but was held to honor March's Women's History Month and Habitat for Humanity's Women Build event. Spring into Action featured goody bags, snacks, a raffle with prize, and a wrap party at Two Weeks Notice brewery!

The event featured three teams that ventured to the GSHFH parking lot at 10am to build pieces of lawn furniture or an outdoor accessory. Finished products will soon be auctioned off with proceeds benefitting GSHFH. To see what transpired on April 13, see the highlight reel and pictures below.
