A Habitat Circle of Faith is a joining together of faith-based groups for the purpose of funding and building a Habitat home. The Circle recruits faith groups, makes financial commitments and raises money, and, working side-by-side with the homeowners-to-be, construct the house. We are excited to annouce that the construction phase of this project is beginning now! The fence is up and excavation is scheduled to be completed by the end of August with the foundation being pour immediately afterwards. By mid-September, volunteer activity on site will begin with a plan to make the house weather tight be snow fall.
How You Can Get Involved
If you would like to get involved, we'd love to have your help. You can "grab a hammer" and work side-by-side with other folks from the Circle, and with the family, to build a house and make it a home. Or, you can help with preparing meals for the work crews, with raising much needed funds or with publicity.
