Updates on current construction projects!

After a long wait and many delays, our project on Dexter St. is up and running! October 8th marked the first day that we had volunteers on site, where they worked to cap the foundation. On Tuesday the 10th, Tim Lukasik and some of his crew from Lukasik Construction generously donated their time and talent to lead volunteers from YouthBuild. A big thank you for everyone's hard work thus far!
Weather depending, we plan to raise the first floor walls this coming Saturday, October 15th. We hope to have the house buttoned up in the next few months, so that work can continue  throughout the winter.

Work has been moving forward on Quincy St. project. A majority of the drywall has been completed, and we'll likey spend one more weekend  to complete drywall, before having professionals come in to work on mudding and taping.

Our dedicated volunteers from the Holyoke Circle of Faith have been doing great work on our project on Chestnut St., in Holyoke. Since the project started in early September, they have been moving along nicely, with first floor walls framed, and second floor deck almost completed. This weekend, volunteers will work on completing the second floor deck and framing 2nd floor walls.

Please check back to find out how are projects are progressing!
