No construction experience is required! Volunteers work under the direction of an experienced site supervisor  to provide the labor for all carpentry, siding, interior trim, painting, and landscaping.

Typical day on the work site:

8-8:15am- Construction Site Supervisor* arrives on site

                   *A volunteer with extensive construction knowledge who is able to supervise volunteers during the construction of Habitat homes

8:30am General work day volunteers*  arrive

                   *Volunteers who work under the direction of the construction site supervisor

8:30am- approximately 8:45am

Introductions, volunteers complete safety waivers (mandatory), overview of the day                                                              

8:45-12pm- Work (volunteers will be notified of tasks for the day several days prior to their scheduled work day)

12pm-12:30-Break for lunch (please plan to bring your own lunch as well as plenty of water)

 12:30-3:30- Work/Clean up/pack up for the day
